Claber Rain sensor

The sensor stops your system watering after 5mm of rain has fallen until most of this has evaporated. Simply fix the sensor to your wall or fence and plug it into the socket in the timer (Logica Plus or GM 2-Flo)

The way it works is that rainwater collects in the sensor's chamber and a magnetic float starts to rise. It has to rise by 5mm before it disconnects the signal to start watering. The float is porous and evaporates water at the same rate as the soil in your garden. Once the water level in its chamber falls below 5mm, it reconnects the signal and watering commences at the times that you have set.
