The Aquabox is easy to fit and use.   It is ideal for watering raised beds, large planters, allotments and garden areas.

You simply place the Aquabox in the ground, fit the capillary matting and lay this out over the area for watering.  Cover with soil or compost, then connect to a waterbutt or tank. The capillary wicks pull the water from the Aquabox and distribute it into the soil. The Aquabox Spyder offers a revolutionary self watering solution for gardeners.  Use straight from a water butt.  No mains water supply, pumps or timers are required. (NB the photo is shown prior to covering with soil/compost).

A series of capillary wicks fan out from the Aquabox Spyder distributing water across an area of 1.2m Sq.  The Aquabox Spyder draws on the water supply as required by the plants, ensuring very efficient use of water. The plant's roots instinctively head to the water source attaching themselves to the capillary wicks.  It has a clever method of shutting off the water supply once the tray has about 25mm of water.

Note:

The capillary wicks should be changed every growing season.

These boxes may be connected together by using a special tee piece (supplied with each Aquabox) , thus the 1st Aquabox is connected to the water butt.

Thereafter they are connected by means of these tees in a line.
