Soaker Hose, 13mm X 20M + Fittings

Soaker Hose emits water along its entire length.  Very good for watering trees, shrubs and other plants where a good soaking is required occasionally.  Typically one should water for about one or two hours, once or twice per week.  This is a low pressure system and is suitable for water butts.

This can be used from your garden tap, however either fit a pressure regulator or regulate the pressure at the tap by restricting the flow.

This can either be buried in soil, or used above ground and is best covered with wood bark or mulch.  If you first put a layer of fibre-glass matting then the wood bark on top, this will keep down weeds.
