Soaker Hose emits water along its entire length.  Very good for watering trees, shrubs and other plants where a good soaking is required occasionally.  Typically one should water for about one or two hours, once or twice per week.  This can be used from your garden tap, however either fit a pressure regulator or regulate the pressure at the tap by restricting the flow.  Either bury it in soil, or cover it with wood bark or mulch for best results.  If you first put a layer of fibre-glass matting then the wood bark on top, this will keep down weeds.  Can also be used resting on top of soil.

For water butts, consider using our low pressure Soaker Hose - "Soaker Hose LP" which will drip at a more satisfactory rate.  Although this standard Soaker Hose can be used.
