The kit contains: 20w monocrystaline solar panel; fixing brackets; Solar Controller; Multi-Function Meter; 20Ah deep Cycle battery; 1.5m low voltage cable for connecting the battery to the Solar Controller.

The panel is provided with approximately 1 metre of cable for connection to the "panel" terminals on the controller - clearly marked (and instructions are provided). The battery is then connected to the "battery" terminals on the controller. The controller also has output terminals for your application ie lighting, pumping, security etc. We also provide crocodile clips in case you want to charge your car battery.
However the deep cycle battery provided with this kit has much thicker plates than a car battery and can stand up much better to frequent cycles of deep discharge, then recharge typically experienced with solar power systems.
