Ideal for low voltage garden lighting, for remote areas , camping, etc. Garden Magic Solar Kits charge special 12volt batteries. The kits provide all you need for generating and storing low voltage electricity. Every kit has a Solar Controller to prevent overcharging; and it also monitors the output to prevent draining the battery. This ensures a long battery life. We provide deep discharge lead acid batteries that are sealed to prevent spills. These have much thicker plates than car batteries (which are unsuitable for solar use). Our 40watt and 80watt kits include a meter so you can see the rate of charging. It also shows usage of electricity. This is a reading only - the meter doesn't record usage.
